Webinar: ‘Learning and Sharing Café’ on Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies: “Preventing and managing inappropriate donations - breastmilk substitutes products"

On the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the WHO Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes, the IFE Core Group and the GNC Technical Alliance are happy to invite you to another ‘Learning and Sharing Café’ on Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies titled: “ Preventing and managing inappropriate donations - Breastmilk substitutes and other prohibited products" 

When: 7th of October 2021 at 14:00-15:30 (GMT+2, CET, Geneva time).

During this Learning and Sharing Café the IFE Core Group will be:

Launching a new infographic on Preventing and Managing Inappropriate Donations of BMS and other prohibited products. 

The webinar will also include:

• A brief presentation on the UNICEF BMS procurement guidelines.
• Experiences and real-life examples from countries such as Myanmar, Slovenia, Cambodia, the Caribbean and South America on how these were able to successfully prevent and /or effectively intercept and handle donations during emergencies.
• Plenty of opportunities for participants to engage in the conversation and ask questions of presenters. 

The Café will be led in English with simultaneous interpretation in French, Spanish, and Arabic.
