Magnat

Hello, I am Magnat Kavuna, Information Manager in the GNC Technical Alliance’s Technical Support Team. My role is to provide technical information management support to the GNC in strengthening the global coordination mechanism of nutrition in emergency response and preparedness activities for National Nutrition Clusters/Sectors.

My recent work has involved supporting Madagascar, Somalia, Mali, and Burkina Faso Nutrition Clusters/Sectors. I have been working in the humanitarian field and information management area for more than 8 years, at the global level and in emergencies, in support of the cluster/sector coordination in different countries, including Syria, South Sudan, Central African Republic, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Haiti. My expertise includes data collection, analysis, visualization and information sharing, database management and mentoring for capacity strengthening.

I enjoy working with data and presenting it in a form of presentation or infographics to make informed decisions. I have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in International Development and Humanitarian Action from Université Laval in Quebec, Canada. Read more on my LinkedIn.
