The Global Action Plan on Child Wasting called upon the World Health Organization to develop and update normative guidance to support governments in the prevention and management of child wasting in all contexts. The recommendations of the management section of the new WHO Guideline on the prevention and management of wasting and nutritional oedema (acute malnutrition) are now available on MAGICapp. You can also find a briefing note summarizing the main messages from the guideline here.
WHO, UNICEF and the Global Nutrition Cluster Technical Alliance invite you to join a webinar where WHO colleagues will walk you through the new recommendations that have been released on the management of infants at risk of poor growth and development, and children with wasting and nutritional oedema.
The webinar format will be a 45 mins presentation followed by 45 minutes of Q&A where you can raise any points of clarification.
Simultaneous interpretation in Arabic, French, and Spanish will be available. The webinar will be recorded in all four languages and shared thereafter. Register early, spaces are limited.
